About me: I was born 1971 in Heidelberg, Germany. I am fascinated with the beauty of nature and the incredible diversity evolution has created. Exploring nature with the camera is a great pleasure and privilege to me, so as a small contribution to conservation I donate my images to non-profit conservation initiatives and researchers (if they are interested at all (-;).

Most of the pictures are taken with a Nikon D300s, some of the older ones with a Nikon D70s and the ones in Baja California - Mexico, are scanned slides. All pictures are nature documents from the wild unless indicated as "captive" in the captions. All pictures and colors are as seen in the wild and not digitally altered or photoshopped in any way.
